I had the opportunity to shoot stills for Jamican reggae artist Shan Coleman this past weekend. Surrounded by makeup artists from MAC and models and actors from the area, Producer David Jofre expertly moved his subjects into position for the creating of Shan Coleman’s upcoming video “Night Still Young”.

My new friend Reagan

I met Reagan over the summer when he did his ’shopping’ at my big summer garage sale! He and dad made some great educational purchases and somewhere along the way I suggested a session of the two of ‘em together. Lo and behold they came by last weekend and we hit the beach running! Literally!
I think we captured the essence of Reagan….

I just met Shan and was overwhelmed by his sense of spirit and his smooth flowing reggae style.
We had a wonderful photo session. Several of my images are featured on his website.
Laura Marie is another great artist. She has an eye for design and color and it shows in her belly castings.

Princess Cruise Light the Night Walk

I was honored to be part of the first Princess Tours Light the Night walk on the Golden Princess for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The team raised about $1,500 for their first event!
On Saturday August 8, 2009 ~ 66 employees, friends and family from Princess Tours walked for a cure. The event was great, the ship donated hors d’ouvres & water, we had balloons tied to sticks (no helium on the ship), Kerri & Evan Dubicki (part of the #1 team in Seattle- The Little Engine That Could) joined us too. Kerri told a very compelling story of how Evan at just one year’s old was diagnosed with Leukemia. Evan was a great trooper, running around and proving that research & treatment do work.
