This month’s artwalk is a mixed bag! You’ll find Lucky Break Wishbones – invented by a local entrepreneur that are perfect for Thanksgiving dinner! Twisted Sister makes handcrafted jewelry out of left over computer parts! Basia’s Journal’s are made of recycled books found in the trash and brought back to life in the form of a journal! Plus lots of other interesting pieces of handcrafted works that make for cool unusual gifts.
Stop by the Studio/Gallery from 6-9pm and do a little shopping!

Calendar Models strut their stuff

During this month’s artwalk I invite you to stop by Gail Ann Photography and help support the Angel Care Breast Cancer Foundation. Gail Ann was chosen to photograph the twelve ‘angels’ for this year’s calendar “Faces of Angel Care, Unveiling the New Year 2010″ All of the angels are breast cancer survivors and trained to provide one on one emotional care to those newly diagnosed.
Proceeds go to the Angel Care Foundation.

The 2010 calendar models of Angel Care were on hand to show off the 2010 Faces of Angel Care calendar at Park Place Books in Kirkland. Saving Grace…September Artwalk display

Our September Artwalk will feature “Saving Grace”…a display of angels photographed in Poland, Chicago and Boston.
Artworks are featured on canvas, polaroid transfers and note cards.

I have had the pleasure of working with both of these great artists.
I just met Shan and was overwhelmed by his sense of spirit and his smooth flowing reggae style.
We had a wonderful photo session. Several of my images are featured on his website.
Laura Marie is another great artist. She has an eye for design and color and it shows in her belly castings.
