I get to photograph the Anawalt family every couple of years. The girtls are growing into their personalities as you can see from these images. They certainly kept me entertained during our session and it shows! Here’s a few of my favorites plus a video!

This month’s artwalk is a mixed bag!  You’ll find Lucky Break Wishbones – invented by a local entrepreneur that are perfect for Thanksgiving dinner! Twisted Sister makes handcrafted jewelry out of left over computer parts! Basia’s Journal’s are made of recycled books found in the trash and brought back to life in the form of a journal! Plus lots of other interesting pieces of handcrafted works that make for cool unusual gifts.

Stop by the Studio/Gallery from 6-9pm and do a little shopping!

The SW Seattle Historical Society held it’s annual Halloween Gala on October 31st at Salty’s on Alki. The event benefits the Log House Museum in West Seattle. Festivities included brunch, speakers, silent auction and most entertainingly – six ghosts of West Seattle’s past.

We tried to get together on Sunday but due to mechanical breakdown had to postpone until today. The weather still held even though it was cloudy and we captured some really nice images of Audrey atop Queen Anne hill. Having grown up in the neighborhood it only made sense to stroll down the avenue….

Ashley’s smile is so captivating! I only did three serious ones of her! Ashley was easy and fun to work with as you can see from her little video and these favorites of mine!

It was a dark and windy night as I walked up the driveway to the Weeks mansion and met all the witches and goblins in the neighborhood. Darin & Nicole contacted me to capture their small wedding reception with family and friends. They renewed their vows on stage at the Hall at Fauntleory and then treated their guests to a marvelous brunch!

I first met this family about 2-3 years ago. Our first session was done in the home on a more casual basis. This time around mom decided formal was the way to go. Sofia couldn’t wait to put on her blue dress that she found in Italy! Here’s is our formal yet fun studio session!

Willa and her sister walk by my studio at least 2-3 times a day! Always off on some exciting adventure. I knew that sooner or later I would get to photograph the cute redheads. And as a bonus I got to meet their cousins Jack and Ryan too! We put off the session once due to weather but this time decided we’d just do it! We all had fun in the fog…take a look.
