The SW Seattle Historical Society held it’s annual Halloween Gala on October 31st at Salty’s on Alki. The event benefits the Log House Museum in West Seattle. Festivities included brunch, speakers, silent auction and most entertainingly – six ghosts of West Seattle’s past.
Putting in ghostly appearances from our past (from right to left)
Amelia Lowe – one of our founding family members
Katherine Smith – founder of the Alki Suffragettes Club
Nellie Curtis – Famous ‘madame’ who vacationed with her family on Alki
Joseph Stanley – of Curiosity Shoppe fame
Frances Farmer – movie star
Richard Hugo – Writer and Poet of White Center
