Maddie’s Senior Pics

I photographed her sister Audrey a couple years ago and now it’s Maddie’s turn.  We braved the chill and found sunny skies on Alki. Once w got started Maddie knew just what she wanted to do. I loved her spontaneous laughter and smiles that only mom could get out of her!

Calendars with a purpose for 2014

Calendars make great gifts…especially if they have purpose and meaning.  Once again I photographed and helped produce the 2014 “Angels in Wings of Courage” calendar.  Produced for Angel Care Breast Cancer Foundation, this spicy calendar is full of inspiring women who have survived breast cancer. So, if you or someone you know has breast cancer this could be the perfect gift.  Visit their website or email to order yours today…angelcare@angelcarefoundation.org

Brian & Bob tie the knot at Kerry Park

Don’t ya just love ‘love’ and those crazy things it makes you do? Brian called and asked if I could capture his wedding nuptials on top of Queen Anne just a few days before the quickly planned event. With both their busy schedules it just seemed like NOW was the time. Somehow they managed to get their parents in from both Florida and Arizona to witness the union.  I was honored to be part of the event.

Introducing Baby Emmer

Named after mom’s love of baking little Baby Emmer was born a short 3 weeks ago. She seemed to take her first photo shoot all in stride but I can’t wait until her first birthday when we create a scene in mom’s kitchen! BTW, I photographed Malia’s wedding about 2 years ago so I’m honored to have captured these first images for them of life with baby.

Allie conquers Georgetown

I enjoy working with families on a regular basis thru the years. I photographed Allie’s sister last year so when it was time for her senior pics we decided to do something a little different. Allie has a unique style and flair that I thought would come across well in the artsy community of Georgetown.  We drove down with four outfits in hand and found some unique places to capture her personality.    Allie goes to Kennedy High School.

’tis the season for family portraits

I’ve been photographing the Anawalt family for 6-7 years now. It always amazes me how fast the girls are growing up. Even though we’ve used their front and back yard many times for a backdrop I often find new corners of inspiration. The girls decided they wanted their picture taken on the trampoline. I think we got it! Here’s a little peak at the family pics.

Crohn’s & Colitis Benefit held November 9th

The dice were flying and the bidding was furious at the annual Casino Night & Auction benefiting the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation here in Seattle. Over $60,000 was raised with patrons walking away with VIP Pearl Jam concert tickets, Dinner with Nancy Leson, a Sayulita getaway just to mention a few.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect both children and adults. My sister was diagnosed over 30 years ago and today lives a very active life despite the occasional flareup and trip to the ER. Having a local chapter in our own backyard has been most helpful.
